Timing, travel, coil and motor current analysis for LV to UHV circuit breakers.
MCBOA and MCBOA Plus are software-based circuit breaker operational analysers. Test results help evaluate and rectify settings for motor currents, contact timings, closing and opening speeds, over-travel, rebound and contact wipe. MCBOA is an easy-to-carry, economical analyser for GIS switchgear, drives and earth switches on the shop floor and during commissioning; MCBOA Plus is a trolley-mounted NextGen analyser for breakers up to 1200 kV in live switchyards, with 24 timing channels, 40 kHz sampling and optional DCRM.

Configurable channels
MCBOA channels can be customised on the basic model; MCBOA Plus is fully modular and configured as required.
Built for site
MCBOA is easy to carry for shop-floor and onsite work; MCBOA Plus is trolley-mounted with wheels for rough switchyard terrain.
Wear-resistant test leads
Connects to circuit breakers, drives and earth switches with wear-resistant leads and suitable connectors.
Pre-programmed testing
Test parameters, sequences and pass / fail limits are preset in the PC software, saving time on site and minimising downtime.
High-speed sampling
MCBOA Plus samples at up to 40 kHz, with 0.02 ms contact timing resolution across 24 channels.
Complete operation sequences
Close, Open, C-O, O-C and O-C-O on both models, with OCO-CO on MCBOA Plus.
