High-energy surges for cable fault pre-location and pinpointing.
A surge wave tester charges a capacitor bank and discharges high-energy surges into a faulty cable so the fault breaks down. It works with a pre-locator for impulse current and multiple impulse methods, and with a receiver for acoustic pinpointing.
